The COVID bonus? – a dissenting note

John Foster's gas compares Covid and climate emergency issues and argues they are completely different, and the covid crisis is far easier to understand.

John Foster takes issue with the idea that public support for the restrictions imposed to deal with COVID-19 can be carried over into a readiness to accept the comparable restrictions necessary to hit zero emissions targets.  Rather, he argues that the COVID and climate emergencies are radically different, with the former much easier for people to understand than the latter.
