Dr Rupert Read of the University of East Anglia (previous chair and founding member of Green House) has collaborated with the APPG on Agreocology for Sustainable Food and Farming on writing two briefings, on the importance of maintaining the Precautionary Principle for Climate Change and Animal Welfare, after the UK leaves the European Union. Our briefings have been provided to Peers who will be speaking in the Committee Stage of the EU (Withdrawal) Bill, in the House of Lords, in support of amendments 66, 112 & 113.
